The project is a one-day video shoot scheduled for December 12, 2025, at the Warkworth Town Hall. This carefully planned production will include:

• Venue Booking: A 10-hour booking to allow for setup, filming, breaks, and pack-out.

• Performance and Crowd Scenes: Filming Swarm’s performance with audience participation, showcasing the unique character of Warkworth and its central role in the Rodney region.

• Accessibility and Comfort: Prioritizing a positive experience for all participants, including young people with disabilities from local schools and supported living homes.

The final video will be promoted across social media platforms to raise awareness about inclusion in the music and arts industries, specifically highlighting how Disabled individuals can actively participate in rock music.

About Swarm
Swarm is a Warkworth-based music group made up primarily of individuals with learning disabilities. We celebrate diversity, creativity, and inclusion, providing a welcoming space where everyone’s unique talents and voices are valued. Our members, many of whom grew up in Warkworth, come together regularly to play, sing, create, and perform.

Our mission is to inspire other young musicians and bands, particularly those with disabilities, to step into the spotlight and help rebrand Rodney as a vibrant and exciting musical hub in New Zealand.
