About

Project Overview
Author Sharon Ferguson launched her book at the Matakana Book Festival and participated in festival events. Following the launch, Sharon toured Colin the Curious Cabbage through local libraries, hosting engaging reading sessions for children and adults alike.

About the Book
Colin the Curious Cabbage is a delightful and imaginative story about Colin, a cabbage who dares to dream beyond the veggie box. Dissatisfied with his fate as a food source, Colin pulls free from his stalk, escapes through a hole in the fence, and rolls downhill on a journey of discovery. Inspired by Albert Einstein’s words, “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious,” Colin’s story encourages readers to embrace curiosity and explore the world beyond their comfort zones.
